Yes, there was a Kathie who raised two girls, served her community and made a comforting cup of coffee. She was a gracious host, a passionate cleaner and a crafty creator. But above all, she was full of grace, wisdom and love for her family, her friends and her community.

 

MEET KYM

Growing up, our weekends were filled with cups of coffee, cleaning rags, visits to grandma, crafts, fashion shows and a soundtrack that shaped me into the woman I am today. When my mom was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer, we knew she would face it like she had all difficult things in her life. What we couldn’t find was the right information of just what we were up against. An introduction to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (PanCAN) led me to how I would honor my mom, one bag of coffee at a time, while building awareness for the cause.

I have built Kathie’s Coffee through a supportive community who want to do good and share her story.

My mom would love all that has become of her namesake coffee. I like to think she is with me every time I sit with myself or my community over a cup of coffee.
